Position Summary
Professor Hong's group is looking for a 1-year postdoctoral fellow who will perform NIH-funded research on biophysical studies on membrane protein folding and ATP-dependent degradation.
1. Plans and conducts experiments, analyzes data, and prepares publications describing results.
2. Assists in training and mentoring of lab personnel, including graduate students and other trainees.
3. Have strong written and oral communication skills.
4. Possess interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and communicate with individuals at all levels.

Required Degree
Doctorate -PhD in chemistry, biochemistry, and biophysics and any research experience in related areas.

Desired Qualifications
experiences in membrane protein expression and purification, strong experimental and theoretical backgrounds in biophysics, and person with open-minded, strong communication and collaboration skills.
