Position Summary
We seek outstanding candidates from all areas of statistics and applied probability. Candidates who develop innovative statistical or probabilistic theory and methodology, as well as those whose work is motivated by or contributes to important applications, are encouraged to apply. We are particularly interested in scholars whose research has the potential to address pressing issues in science and society through advances in statistical and probabilistic thinking, methodology, computation, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
The successful candidates will be expected to develop and sustain internationally recognized research programs, pursue opportunities for external research funding, provide high-quality instruction and mentorship at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and contribute to the missions of the Department, College, and University.

Doctorate -Statistics or a closely related field
Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in statistics or a closely related field by the position start date.
Candidates should demonstrate strong potential to develop an independent and impactful research program and a commitment to excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching and student mentoring.
Desired Qualifications
Applicants from all areas of statistics and applied probability will be considered. We particularly encourage applicants whose research demonstrates excellence and the potential for significant scholarly impact.
