Position Summary(Basic Job Function)
This is an on-call position. Provides food service, custodial, grounds maintenance, general labor or other main support on an on-call basis.
Unit Position Summary
Basic chores (feed and water checks, health checks, treatments), power washing, parturition support and day-1 baby pig care, weighing animals, cleaning and maintenance.

Summary of Health Risks
Position involves exposure to agricultural and livestock environments, including swine, animal waste, dust, allergens, odors, noise, cleaning and disinfecting agents, and outdoor weather conditions. Employees must follow biosecurity and safety protocols and use required personal protective equipment.
Summary of Physical Demands
Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and working around livestock in indoor and outdoor environments. Ability to safely perform animal care activities, operate farm equipment, and work in varying weather conditions while using required PPE.
