Position Summary

The Counseling and Counselor Education Program in the Department of Counseling, Educational Psychology and Special Education at Michigan StateUniversity is currently seeking an instructor for CEP 470 Disability in a Diverse Society. 

The Program seeks to recruit and retain an assistant instructor, instructor, or assistant professor who will reflect our commitment to maintain the excellence of the university, and to offer our students richly varied disciplines, perspectives, and ways of knowing and learning. Rank will be commensurate with experience.

Position is planned for a recurring basis.

Required Degree

Doctorate -rehabilitation counseling or closely related field

Minimum Requirements

Relevant work experience in career counseling, vocational and rehabilitation counseling, and working with individuals with disabilities. Hire will be ranked based on education.

Education requirements are as follows:

• Assistant Professor - PhD
• Instructor - Masters
• Assistant Instructor - Bachelors

Desired Qualifications

Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, or commensurate credential(s).
