Your role within the team 

The Brand Manager will support the brand marketing for Zesty Paws in Australia - driving brand awareness, consideration, conversion and sustainable growth through a digital-first marketing approach. This role will also manage the innovation pipeline from a marketing standpoint, develop compelling brand and marketing assets, and ensure consistent brand expression across all channels. The Brand Manager will work closely with the global and APAC Zesty Paws teams to leverage global brand strategies and assets. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Building brand awareness and engagement through integrated marketing campaigns, 

  • Leading digital-first storytelling across social, paid, and owned channels, 

  • Driving influencer and social media strategy to build community and conversion, 

  • Developing brand and campaign assets, ensuring consistency across Amazon, DTC, TikTok Shop, and more, 

  • Translating consumer insights into innovation opportunities and manage go-to-market execution, 

  • Tracking brand performance and ROI, managing budgets for maximum impact.  

Desired Skills & Experience

To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity: 

  • 3+ years’ experience in brand management within FMCG, pet nutrition, supplements, or lifestyle wellness sectors, 

  • Proven track record in digital-first brand building and integrated marketing campaigns, 

  • Strong content and social media marketing skills to drive engagement and traffic, 

  • Familiarity with product innovation, development, and stage gate processes, 

  • Experience launching brands in new markets or categories (highly regarded), 

  • Solid understanding of performance marketing and ability to partner with digital teams and agencies across Meta, Google, and TikTok, 

  • Skilled in creating high-converting content for digital commerce platforms (Amazon, DTC, TikTok Shop), 

  • Confident in analysing consumer insights, tracking brand performance, and optimising campaigns, 

  • Good grasp of eCommerce and shopper behaviour to support effective collaboration with the Digital Manager.
