Your role within the team
This is a key role within the national HCP field team. Purpose of the role is to implement evidence based selling skills in relationships with HCP customers. The skills are used to influence and ultimately gain commitment from HCPs to consistently recommend H&H science-based products to patients. They can expertly manage workload, timeframes and high standards together with overcoming challenges in an evolving market. They understand they are responsible for planning and managing their assigned territory to deliver impactful data driven results. This team member can work autonomously but also understands the importance of working cross functionally with different teams and achieving results collaboratively. They show initiative, are brave in their approach, highly passionate and influential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage a set territory, meeting call rates KPI’s based on a quarterly territory business plan covering: face to face/virtual meetings, education sessions and scientific meetings in private clinics and hospitals, group presentations and professional conference sponsorships.
- Demonstrate expertise in the evidence for Paediatric Nutrition & Natural medicine to visit, build relationships and detail key Specialists (Paediatricians) and Health Care Professionals, such as Nurses & Midwives, Naturopaths and primary care GP’s, to build credibility and increase recommendation of our products.
- Leverage HCP and KOL relationships in hospital accounts to drive sell in and use of the Biostime Nutrition hospital-based product.
- Implement best practice HCP detailing, presenting and selling process using product evidence & competitor knowledge, to strategically grow sales and customer base in line with set business objectives.
- Organise and present at state-based scientific meetings & education events for HCP’s
- Demonstrate ability to present with confidence, high engagement and impact to a large audience well as facilitation of training to smaller groups of customers and H&H team members.
- Ensure all activity and results are recorded in our CRM and all KPI’s are exceeded with a TLAD & GABA attitude.
- Provide insights and competitor feedback to support evolving commercial strategies and new products.
Desired Skills & Experience

To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:
- Completed a minimum bachelor’s health science degree e.g. Dietetics, Nutrition or Naturopathy, Pharmacist etc.
- Proven performance (2 years minimum) evidence-based selling to HCP’s (Health Care Practitioner’s) and field territory management (preferably in Infant Nutrition and/or Natural Medicine)
- Solid understanding of the competitor landscape
- Ability to identify product USPs and apply these in influential conversations with HCPs to increase recommendation rates Strategic Planning Building plans that ignite growth and create joint value in line with goals.
- Researched health statistics and clinical research to detail healthcare professionals
- Strategically develop and implement a territory business plan to facilitate efficiencies in field.
- Solid understanding of stakeholder mapping and management in a hospital setting to identify key decision makers in key settings and understand how to influence this group to support product recommendation
- Initiate relationships and connections with multiple HCP customer types (e.g. pharmacists, natural medicine practitioners, GPs, paediatricians, dietitians & nurses) in a variety of settings (e.g. private clinics, medical centres, public/private hospitals and pharmacy)
- Conducted scientific meetings and HCP education trainings in a clinical environment that is impactful and engaging
- Being organised and independent while working cross functionally with different teams
