Your role within the team 

As the HCP Marketing Specialist / Senior HCP Marketing Specialist ANC/BNC and a key member of the HCP team, you will collaborate with stakeholders to execute Health Care Practitioner brand marketing plans and strategic initiatives that drive long-term sales, profit, and market-share growth for products within the Adult Nutrition Care (ANC) and Baby Nutrition Care (BNC) ranges. You will leverage scientific evidence and health expertise to equip the Sales and Field Teams with the tools and insights they need to effectively influence customers to recommend and range our products.

 

Key responsibilities include: 

HCP Brand Development 

  • Support the implementation and evaluation of the HCP Brand Plan for ANC/BNC in line with the corporate direction. 
  • Support cross functional teams including Marketing, Sales, Customer Service and Science as a product expert providing technical expertise where required.
  • Provide exceptional copywriting, proof-reading and editing for a wide range of medical marketing/advertising collateral, which delivers key messages in accordance with the HCP Marketing Plan. 
  • Collaborate with the Social and Content Coordinator to plan content across social media channels including community management. 
  • Deliver and evaluate technical product content for dissemination across a variety of mediums and targeted audiences. 
  • Contribute key HCP insights and incorporate into product communication, education materials and product development. 
  • Undertake post campaign analysis, optimisation and reporting for key stakeholders to drive marketing excellence and seek continuous improvement for HCP Marketing Plan initiatives. 
  • In depth competitor analysis for all NPD and current range 
  • Support Education & Training manager with customer sell in of NPD  

Stakeholder Management 

  • Cooperate with related business functions inputting local performance and learning while leveraging Global/ANZ best practice.
  • Work closely with HCP agencies and key suppliers to optimise creative concepts that meet brand objectives.  
 

Regulatory/Technical 

  • Work with Scientific Affairs, Corporate and Regulatory departments to support the medical claims and ensure all business activities comply with relevant acts, legal demands and ethical standards. 

Reporting 

  • Support comprehensive competitive tracking for HCP channel and related products. Communicate opportunities, risks and relevant action plans to HCP Marketing Manager.
  • Evaluation of key initiatives. Communicate and implement opportunities, risks and relevant action plans with the HCP Marketing Manager.

 

Desired Skills & Experience 

We look for people who have what it takes to make an impact; who can challenge us to go further while pushing themselves to deliver exciting & ambitious results.  

To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity: 

  • Maximum 5 years’ experience in the natural or nutritional medicine industry, ideally in a commercial or field-based role, with marketing experience highly regarded. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a health discipline (e.g., Naturopathy, Nutrition, Dietician), with clinical experience recommending healthcare products to patients/consumers considered highly valuable.  
  • Ability to translate nutritional science into clear clinical and commercial messaging. 
  • Strong technical knowledge of product formulations and ingredient efficacy within ones responsibility, with health and wellness expertise to add value to influence increasing recommendation rates. 
  • Ability to communicate complex product, scientific and competitor information clearly and persuasively at a head-office level. 
  • Experienced in training business managers on product formulation, competitor landscape and points of difference to support NPD sell-in. 
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). 
  • Skilled in translating technical information and scientific evidence into effective materials for field teams and/or consumers. 
  • Experience in implementing Health Care Practitioner–focused promotional activities and evaluating their effectiveness, with the ability to analyse results and present actionable insights to guide strategic direction. 
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage internal stakeholders to drive outcomes. 
  • Strong understanding of the Australian Regulatory Guidelines (TGA) and their application.
