Your role within the team 

We are looking for a Category Analyst to support the Senior Category Development Manager with analytics, insight generation, presentation design, internal and external presentations and customer relationship building. This role will work closely with National Sales Managers and National Account Managers along with Marketing. This role is part of the Category & Channel team, responsible for the development and implementation of Category Strategies, building our range and assortment vision by channel and creating retailer relationships that deliver strong commercial outcomes.

 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Build refreshable reports for range reviews and sales performance tracking.
  • Build strong relationships with Swisse account teams.  
  • Support the Senior Category Development Manager - prepare and build reports by collecting, analysing and summarising data trends. 
  • Present key category performance updates as required. 
  • Present category performance and insights to customers as required. 
  • Find new, streamlined and compelling ways to analyse and present our category data 
  • Positively impact our customer relationships by providing valuable, timely and compelling category insights

 

Desired Skills & Experience

To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business or computer science. 
  • 2+ years in a sales or marketing role with experience presenting. 
  • Working knowledge of the 4Ps that impact sales performance (product, place, price & promotion). 
  • High level of analytical, numerical ability, problems solving skills to develop proactive actionable insights. 
  • Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills. 
  • Experience with Power BI and Quantium an advantage. 
  • Experience working with large data sets.
