Your role within the team
In the position of Wellness Business Development Manager, you will drive commercial sales performance by achieving quarterly and annual targets, maintaining customer service standards, and promoting products in line with global brand guidelines. You will also lead wellness education initiatives across your territory, implementing technical training plans in collaboration with the Education team, delivering in-field sessions with key decision-makers, conducting in-store training, and hosting quarterly state-based events to strengthen product knowledge and capability. The metro territory for this role will be Brisbane North and Sunshine Coast.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own and deliver quarterly and annual sales targets while building strong, lasting customer relationships
- Hit customer call coverage goals and consistently deliver on agreed service level expectations
- Champion Swisse products in line with our global brand guidelines, bringing the brand to life in every interaction
- Roll out an engaging, dynamic technical training plan across your territory in partnership with our Education team
- Deliver impactful in-field training with key decision-makers and retail partners
- Plan and lead in-store training sessions that inspire, educate, and drive results
- Bring the community together by delivering quarterly, state-based education events that energise and upskill stakeholders
Desired Skills & Experience

To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:
- Proven success managing territories within Pharmaceutical, Naturopathy, Medical, or Health Food sales environments
- Degree or Diploma in Health Science, Naturopathy, or a related field, with a strong grasp of healthcare sales, clinical language, and industry research
- Confident, persuasive communicator with the ability to build compelling business cases, proposals, and ROI-driven recommendations
- Experience managing state-based accounts, including promotions, NPD presentations, range and planogram management, and co-op negotiations (desirable, not essential)
- Strong commercial mindset with the ability to interpret P&L, articulate strategy, and drive sustainable growth
- Deep knowledge of health and wellness categories, clinical evidence, and competitor insights to influence outcomes
- Tech-savvy, highly organised, and mobile — proficient in Microsoft Office and holding a full Australian Driver’s Licence
