Our New Zealand business focusses on the Swisse portfolio of adult nutrition products. Swisse is one of the fastest growing vitamins brands in New Zealand, having more than doubled in size and winning numerous industry and customer awards over the past few years. We are market leaders across numerous sub-segments and while we are one of only a few ‘generalist’ (multi-segment) brands, we have well-defined focus areas to develop through 2026 and to own in 2027. We run a truly hybrid office in Ponsonby, Auckland, with onsite parking provided for all team members, and travel to our Melbourne head office several times a year to engage with the broader business and ANZ teams.

Your role within the team
Reporting to the General Manager New Zealand, you will lead the end-to-end development and execution of strategic marketing plans and campaigns that drive growth, build brand awareness, and engage customers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders across Swisse ANZ, and industry partners to deliver impactful campaigns across multiple channels. This hybrid role blends traditional marketing communications, NPD and innovation, shopper marketing, and digital marketing, all tailored to the New Zealand market. Using your expertise in nutrition and natural health, you will implement marketing strategies that grow long-term brand health, awareness, sales, profit, and market share.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute end-to-end the Swisse NZ marketing and activity strategy, working with partner agencies to achieve full-funnel KPI’s for key campaigns.
- Manage our social/digital media agency to ensure digital comms support campaigns and new product launches.
- Effectively manage an A&M budget to ensure campaign and activation costs fit within the broader marketing plan.
- Work with the sales team to develop and execute retail media campaigns aligned to the overarching Swisse marketing plan.
- Manage our suite of sponsorship and charity partners, participating in events and activations as required.
- Define and execute project strategies for new product development, ensuring timelines align with customer and business needs.
- Lead cross functional project teams, driving accountability and tracking progress weekly and monthly against key milestones.
- Report and present project status updates to the broader business, senior leaders and executives.
- Identify, assess and manage risks, dependencies and potential liabilities across multiple projects.
- Act as the central point of coordination across teams to ensure alignment and seamless collaboration.
- Present projects through Stage Gate forums to secure business approval and progression, then manage those products through to launch in market.

- Proven accountability for a portfolio of products or brands, managing commercial performance including P&L, COGS, margins, and marketing budgets.
- Delivered successful, disruptive brand campaigns across traditional, digital, and retail media channels that drive awareness and sales.
- Launched new products and innovations to retailers and consumers, achieving measurable impact.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and influence, driving alignment and results without direct authority.
- Conducted post-campaign reviews to extract actionable insights that inform future strategy.
- Experience in health and wellness industries, such as diet, nutrition, sport, exercise, or mental health, ideally within a commercial environment.
