Your role within the team 
As Project Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) initiatives within multiple product categories and formats. You will be responsible for building and managing clear, achievable project timelines that drive efficient execution and measurable results.  

Working cross-functionally, you will align key stakeholders across functions to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with business priorities. Your strong communication and stakeholder management skills will enable you to foster collaboration, drive accountability, and effectively navigate complex challenges. 

You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, adapting quickly to evolving business needs while keeping teams focused and aligned. Your leadership will be critical in ensuring the successful delivery of strategically important projects that support innovation and growth. 

 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Define and execute project strategies for new product development, ensuring timelines align with customer and business needs. 
  • Lead cross functional project teams, driving accountability and tracking progress weekly and monthly against key milestones. 
  • Report and present project status updates to the broader business, senior leaders and executives. 
  • Identify, assess and manage risks, dependencies and potential liabilities across multiple projects. 
  • Act as the central point of coordination across teams to ensure alignment and seamless collaboration. 
  • Present projects through Stage Gate forums to secure business approval and progression. 
  • Provide analytical support to Supply Planning to manage transitions or changes to existing products. 
  • Analyse planning data to assess impacts across Sales, Supply, Inventory and other business functions, including tracking financial risks to the P&L. 
  • Coordinate inventory transitions and run down strategies to minimise discounting, claims and returns, while managing change controls, documentation and standard operating procedures.

 

Desired Skills & Experience

To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity: 

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management, ideally within FMCG. 
  • Proven track record delivering new and existing product launches within a stage gate environment. 
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective cross functional relationships. 
  • Solid understanding of end-to-end product development and commercialisation processes. 
  • Experience applying project management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile or Waterfall. 
  • Strong reporting capability across project status, timelines, financial impacts and risk, with experience using PMO tools such as Monday.com. 
  • Experience developing new processes and improving existing ways of working. 
  • Ability to manage project complexity, including budgets, timelines, risk assessment and mitigation planning. 
  • Experience supporting change management and business transformation initiatives, including international market exposure.
