Your role within the team
Reporting to the Senior Quality Associate, the Quality Coordinator plays a key role in supporting day-to-day Quality Operations within a regulated environment. This position is responsible for ensuring the timely and compliant release of products to market, maintaining high-quality standards, and supporting product specification updates in collaboration with internal teams and contract manufacturers. You will contribute to the management of stability programs through data review and trending, assist with existing product development (EPD) projects, and help ensure compliance with GMP requirements. The role also involves developing proficiency in eQMS, supporting document control processes, and providing broader support across quality-related activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure timely, compliant batch release to market, meeting all quality standards and product specifications
- Support Quality Associates with reviewing, updating, and approving straightforward product specifications
- Assist in the effective management of change control processes
- Manage stock returns within agreed timeframes
- Support product complaint handling and resolution processes
- Maintain accurate and compliant document control systems
- Contribute to robust documentation practices, including SOPs and Work Instructions
- Participate in new employee inductions and ongoing training as required
- Apply and promote Good Documentation Practice (GDP) standards
- Uphold and demonstrate commitment to Swisse benchmark quality standards
Desired Skills & Experience

To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:
- Tertiary qualification in Science or Engineering, or minimum 2 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical, food, or other regulated industry
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements for therapeutic and non-therapeutic products
- Working knowledge of Quality Systems, Risk Management, and Compliance frameworks
- Familiarity with laboratory operations and processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
- Experience in pharmaceutical, complementary medicines, or food manufacturing environments
- Understanding of Pharmaceutical Quality Systems (PQS)
- Knowledge of document control processes and best practices
- Experience with change control and training systems
