Your role within the team 
 
This role offers an exciting opportunity drive long-term strategic innovation initiatives across the Swisse portfolio, identifying whitespace opportunities, shaping future pipeline concepts, and translating consumer and wellness trends into actionable growth platforms. This role bridges insights, brand strategy, R&D, and commercialization to future-proof the business and fuel sustained category leadership. 

 

Key responsibilities include: 

Innovation Strategy & Pipeline Development 

  • Lead the discovery and validation of medium-to-long term innovation platforms (2–5 year horizon). 

  • Manage medium to long term projects through the stage gate process from ideation through to launch  

  • Translate macro trends, health science advances, and consumer behaviour into future product or platform opportunities.            

  • Co-develop innovation roadmaps with key stakeholders across brand, R&D, regulatory, and commercial teams. 

Concept Development & Testing 

  • Generate disruptive ideas and new product concepts grounded in consumer insight, science, and brand fit. 

  • Oversee early-stage feasibility work (formulation pathways, technical viability, claims). 

Cross-Functional Leadership 

  • Act as innovation lead on cross-functional squads, aligning R&D, marketing, insights, and commercial inputs. 

  • Present at key commercial retailer forums as required 

 

Desired Skills & Experience  

We look for people who have what it takes to make an impact, who can challenge us to go further while pushing themselves to deliver exciting & ambitious results.  

To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity: 

  • 5+ years in innovation, brand strategy, or R&D, ideally in consumer health, wellness, FMCG, or supplements. 

  • Experience leading or participating in early-stage innovation or pipeline development projects 

  • Exposure to human-centered design, trend mapping, or foresight tools is advantageous 

  • Previous experience in DTC brands, wellness or vitamin industry advantageous 

  • Strong communicator & presenter with a passion for wellness and future-thinking. 

  • Experience with stage gate processes and systems are preferable
