What does the job look like?

This is an exciting time at Armaguard as we transform our business through growth and innovation. Reporting to the Regional Security Manager, you will be required to apply your security experience to manage a variety of situations confidentially and to the highest professional standard. Key areas include:

• Management of access control at Armaguard facilities
• The dissemination of security information to Armaguard branches
• Assisting with security audit and compliance
• Providing guarding and support services to operational crews
• Work collaboratively with Road crew, managers and police forces regarding security matters and tend to company assets

Are you the one?

Focusing on the delivery of high quality, customer focused security services, the successful applicants will demonstrate commitment to execute security protocols in line to company policies and State statues. You can demonstrate:

• Prior experience in security or a similar field will be highly regarded
• Ability to communicate effectively with members of the public and internal stakeholders across all levels
• Solid computer skills with the ability to provide written reports on security incidents.
• Working knowledge and understanding of OH&S and Risk Management principles.
• Proven capacity to operate in a high-pressure environment requiring acute levels of confidentiality
• Appropriate credentials: 1AF Security Licence, Category H Firearms Licence and Driver’s Licence.
