About the role
We currently have three Information Management Officer - Operations opportunities available.
1x permanent full-time
1x temporary full time up to 12months
1x temporary part-time (14 hours) Thursday and Friday for up to 12months
Key duties for this position include the scanning, capture, classification, data entry, and retention and disposal of Council information. Attend to enquiries, obtain and provide information, provide assistance to end users on the efficient and effective use of the Information Management System, and perform auditing and reporting as required.
Essential criteria
- Qualification in Recordkeeping, Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated experience in the use of Information Management Systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of physical and electronic recordkeeping functions and practices
- Proficient data entry and experience using scanning technology and equipment
- Understanding of recordkeeping compliance and responsibilities for Public Offices under the State Records Act 1998
- Knowledge and understanding of the retention and disposal of information
- Good effective communication, interpersonal skills and teamwork
Full-time Salary: The salary for this position ranges from $67,619.00 - $78,273.00, per annum, plus 11.5% Superannuation
Part-time Salary: The salary for this position ranges from $37.15 - $43.00 per hour, plus 11.5% Superannuation
Salary will be negotiated commensurate with the skills, qualifications and experience of the preferred applicant.
You will be required to undertake employment checks, which may include a Criminal History Check, Qualification Check, Working with Children Check, Medical Declaration and/or a Functional Test, as relevant to the position for which you have applied. Where a Criminal History Check is required and has returned a result that indicates disclosable court outcomes, you will be required to provide a copy of the report to Penrith City Council, for review, in order to progress through the recruitment process.
