The Academic Program Specialist independently coordinates a variety of operational tasks involved in the day-to-day administration of the Department of History. Key responsibilities include tasks supporting faculty promotion and tenure, student admissions and registration, and program marketing and publicity.
Post-Award Grant Specialist UMBC Campus Open Until Filled
This position is a member of the College’s Shared Services Center within the Post-Award Team and reports directly to the Senior Grant Specialist. The position is primarily responsible for providing administrative and budgetary support for grant proposal submissions and post-award financial management activities.
Pre-Award Grant Specialist UMBC Campus Open Until Filled
This position will be a member of the College’s Shared Services Center, within the Pre-Award Team. This position, reporting to the Senior Grant Specialist, will be primarily responsible for administrative and budget support on grant proposal submissions. The position will work with faculty to create, collect, review, upload, and transmit documents necessary for routing proposal requests for new research funding. This includes working with various departments across campus, departments at collaborating universities outside of UMBC, external contractors, and program sponsors at federal, state and private agencies.
