Job Summary: SUNY Brockport, REOC ( Rochester Educational Opportunity Center) is currently accepting applications for a Learning Resource Center Coordinator. The person in this role oversees the learning resource center, REOC archives, computer labs and equipment that supports the learning needs of our diverse population of academic and vocational students. In addition, the Learning Resource Center Coordinator recruits tutors, manages tutoring services, trains and supports tutors and offers regular workshops for community members, faculty and students. The Coordinator conducts TABE and GED workshops, explore grant opportunities, and assist students with research.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree by time of appointment from a college or university accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or an internationally recognized college or university.
• Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and the ability to learn new computer systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree.
• Previous tutoring coordination experience.
• Experience in adult basic education.
• Experience with TABE or GED preparation.
• Experience with curriculum development.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
Salary and Benefits: The Minimum Salary for this position is $55,000.
