The native title policy team is seeking an experienced Senior Policy Officer to manage and coordinate the development and implementation of a range of policy initiatives that support DPHI and Government commitments. You will be responsible for researching, analysing, and reviewing complex policy issues, providing expert advice to stakeholders, and building strong relationships to inform policy decision-making. Additionally, you will prepare comprehensive reports and briefs, coordinate across different teams and departments, and deliver projects within required standards and timeframes, adapting to changing environments. Key skills include decision-making, communication, resilience, stakeholder management, analytical problem-solving, and project management.

What you will bring to the role
