  • Principal Scientist, Conservation based in Parramatta or other key Science & Insights location
  • Temporary full-time opportunity until 2 Feb 2026
  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $134,445 to $148,168 + super

 

Biodiversity Conservation & Science is seeking a suitably experienced Principal Scientist, Conservation.

The role provides scientific leadership to deliver Conservation Science programs and research projects for threatened species in NSW.

 

About You

To be the successful applicate for this position you will require;

  • Ph.D. in a relevant scientific field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of conservation science, including expertise in the ecology of fauna, flora or ecosystems
  • A strong track record of working collaboratively to lead rigorous scientific research projects to achieve priority conservation outcomes and effectively communicate results
  • Proven ability to work with stakeholders and provide expert scientific advice to influence conservation programs
