The role
As a Native Title Development Resource (Education) Officer you will be responsible for developing training products and the delivery of training as it relates the departments obligations as per the Crown Land Management Act 2016 and the Native Title Act 1993. The role will develop Native Title educational products and deliver Native Title Training to (i) Local Government staff, (ii) Crown Land Managers and (ii) Departmental staff.
It will be expected that the officer will be able to undertake independent research to develop contemporary educational and training products relating to Native Title. These educational and training products will be made available by a combination of online solution and in person delivery.

What you will bring to the role
- Proven experience in education, including training development and instructional strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with diverse stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
- Empathy and emotional intelligence to understand the needs and perspectives of team members and members of the community
- Meticulous attention to detail amidst high-volume workloads, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks and deliverables.
Key Knowledge and experience
- Understanding of the Crown Land Management 2016, the Native Title Act 1993, the Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983, the Local Government Act 1993 and the NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.
- Experience in developing and delivering staff and stakeholder education products and training.
What is an essential requirement
- Current drivers licence with a willingness and the ability to travel within NSW
