Do you have exceptional customer service skills and a desire to develop your career within talent acquisition? An opportunity has been created for a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our Talent Acquisition and Strategy group to support our team in building a skilled workforce that supports the Department to deliver on its objectives now and into the future.

In this role you will work closely with experienced Talent Acquisition Partners across the end-to-end recruitment process, which will include scheduling interviews, preparing interview packs, coordinating assessment tasks, conducting reference checks and processing offers. High performers will be given the opportunity to help source and engage candidates and review and match our pre-assessed candidates to roles across our business.

This role is a critical part of our our senior executive recruitment team. Exceptional communication skills, a professional writing style and strong attention to detail is essential as you will be required to draft advertisements and prepare appointment paperwork for the Departments’ executive team. You will also be responsible for managing the team’s central inbox and calendar, including the coordination of interviews with executive candidates and key internal stakeholders.

This role will also support the team with our Workforce Mobility Program, helping us to redeploy our skilled workforce across government as work programs are completed.  You’ll be managing employee databases, requesting information and be the frontline helping us manage change.  You’ll need to be flexible and able to quickly pivot between tasks when supporting your team, using the knowledge you’ll gain of our business to help prioritise tasks.

What you will bring to the role
We’re looking for someone who has extensive experience in managing the administrative needs of a small team and demonstrates exceptional organisational, coordination, and time management skills. A background in executive search coordination or providing administrative support to a recruitment function is ideal. Your proven capacity for critical thinking and proactive anticipation of needs, combined with your ability to effectively manage competing priorities and a high-volume workload, will be key to your success in this role.

It is essential that you have a demonstrated ability to take initiative, have exceptional attention to detail and be someone who easily embraces and enhances new systems and processes. You’ll also be customer focused and bring proven experience in providing an elite customer experience at all touch points for your stakeholders, both internal and external.
