Biodiversity Conversation & Science division is seeking a Senior Team Leader, Restoration Science!
- Temporary role until February 2027, part time job-share opportunity (3 days per week or 0.6 Full Time Equivalent)
- Office location – Parramatta or key Science & Insights location
- Salary relative to experience and ranges from $153,138 to $164,031 + Super
The Senior Team Leader designs and drives the strategic delivery of restoration science and research projects for DCCEEW across multiple land tenures and multiple internal and external partners that support successful ecosystem restoration, support the delivery of the Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM) review recommendations and landscape-scale restoration under the NSW Plan for Nature and the NSW Nature Strategy
About you
- Relevant scientific qualifications.
- High-level experience in developing, leading and delivering rigorous science and research projects
- High-level experience in developing and maintaining a range of collaborative internal and external relationships and networks essential to successful project delivery
- Passionate about leading and growing multi-disciplinary government research leading to positive on-ground biodiversity conservation and restoration outcomes
