If you are passionate about preserving and enhancing Sydney's urban parks and open spaces, we have a unique opportunity for you. Greater Sydney Parklands, a city-wide agency dedicated to the growth and preservation of open spaces and parklands, is seeking two dedicated Assistant Program Officers to join our team. As an Assistant Program Officer, you'll support the operations team in managing contracts, assets, and facilities while also overseeing program administration.

The role
In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the operations team with essential functions like contract management administration, asset and facility maintenance, and project tracking to help ensure the effective delivery of park programs and services. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, preparing work orders, maintaining accurate documentation, and utilising systems for finance tracking, asset and insurance claim management, and reporting. You will manage notification processes and enquiries, triaging and assigning to relevant staff as required and providing updates regarding program status and implementation issues to stakeholders.

Additionally, you'll assist the assets and risk team by gathering and reporting asset data, maintaining records, and conducting site visits to monitor the status of parks facilities as needed.
