EOI EO10 Senior Product Owner for Energy, Climate Change and Sustainability (ECCS)

Are you interested in delivering a suite of transformational digital products aimed to support the NSW Government’s progress towards net zero and climate change targets?

The ECCS Digital team is looking for a Senior Product Owner to lead the digital delivery of a range of products in partnership with the Sustainable Government team. Products include centralised data reporting and analysis platforms and emissions modelling tools to support government agencies to plan net zero targets.

As a senior digital specialist embedded in a specialist program team, the role will be focused on providing digital product management leadership, project management delivery and digital subject matter expertise to the Sustainable Government team.

We are looking for a senior digital product specialist with demonstrated experience in:

• End-to-end management of complex digital products and data sources
• Project management of significant digital transformation projects with a range of partners and stakeholders
• Development and management of product roadmaps that reflect strategic priorities
• Development and management of agile artefacts such as product backlogs, user stories and test cases
• Managing relationships and deliverables with technical vendors
• Detailed requirements gathering, documentation and business needs analysis
• Budget and contract management

Digital, Strategic Delivery branch. Energy, Climate Change and Sustainability Group (ECCS) – Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW)

The ECCS Digital team works in a support, high performing and fast-paced environment alongside delivery teams to ensure the best solutions for their customers and for NSW. The team manages a suite of digital channels, platforms, systems and projects, ensuring best practice is applied across a range of disciplines. These systems and channels underpin the delivery of the NSW Government’s Net Zero Plan, climate change response and energy transformation.
