We are currently seeking to appoint a Director Office of the Deputy Secretary to join our Corporate Services team.

Reporting into the Deputy Secretary Corporate Services, you will play a pivotal role in leading a small team in the provision of high-level policy, planning, executive and operational support services to facilitate the achievement of organisational objectives.

You will also be responsible for managing a range of corporate, executive, administrative and ministerial support ensuring that high quality services are delivered in an effective and efficient manner. This will include leading the coordination of strategic and operational advice, including managing the flow of policy proposals, business cases and briefing notes through to the Office of the Secretary, Ministerial Office’s, and other government entities.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a highly motivated leader with extensive experience in providing strategic advice and solutions within a corporate services environment for a similar large and complex organisation. It is essential that you have demonstrated experience in strategic planning, executive services, and the successful delivery of policy, program and/or reform initiatives.

The key to your success will be your ability to influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders and a strong commitment to building relationships, customer service and delivering quality outcomes. You will also be someone who considers themselves as an avid problem solver with the ability to work through and provide innovation solutions to complex business matters.

Additionally, you will demonstrate strong leadership and coaching skills with a track record of driving high performance and continuous improvement within a team.
