  • Parramatta preferred; other NSW locations considered on request
  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $120,859 to $133,183 + super and annual leave loading
  • Support policy and governance across the Procurement functions

The role

We are seeking Senior Procurement Officers for multiple temporary positions.

These roles are working across the high functioning strategic Procurement team within Corporate Services, where you will be supporting a Procurement Manager. You will be involved in partnering with and advising client stakeholders in planning, sourcing and managing high value/complex procurement arrangements to meet business objectives. This will involve understanding and applying the NSW Government Procurement Policy Framework and advising on best practice procurement methods and approaches.

About you

  • Have significant experience in leading end to end high-value, complex strategic sourcing activities for categories such as construction (GC21, MW21), and general goods & services, including ICT.
  • Understanding of legislative and Government Procurement requirements, and experience in implementing procurement policies and governance practices
  • Experience in stakeholder relationship management and working with cross-functional teams
