- Salary range from $145,378 to $168,130 plus super and leave loading
EnergyCo NSW is spearheading the transition to renewable energy to deliver clean electricity to the people of NSW as coal-fired power stations near closure.
About the Opportunity
As the Property Manager GIS (Geographical Information Systems), you will play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational management of government-owned properties to support EnergyCo’s energy programs. Leveraging your expertise in GIS, surveying, and mapping, you will ensure the effective utilisation of assets, maintain and update GIS systems, and integrate data from various projects and agencies. With a focus on compliance and sustainability, you will contribute to optimising property management processes whilst receiving support in GIS system maintenance and data management to ensure you shine in this role. This is a unique opportunity to apply your spatial services knowledge to drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives.
About You
With a strong background in property management and Geographical Information Systems (GIS), you bring a sound understanding of land and property legislation, ensuring compliance and efficiency in managing government-owned assets. Your expertise in GIS allows you to manage the application of EnergyCo’s GIS system and spatial data to enhance property decision making, ensure accurate mapping and comprehensive data analysis for property transactions, land use planning, and asset management. Personable and relationship-focused, you excel at maintaining positive stakeholder engagement, managing tenant interactions, and resolving disputes, including navigating tribunal processes when and if required.
You thrive in a dynamic environment where accuracy, governance, and transparency are paramount. Your ability to maintain data integrity while adhering to regulations ensures seamless property management processes. Balancing competing priorities, you work effectively with stakeholders to meet project deadlines, uphold ethical standards, and navigate the complexities of high-profile government property transactions with professionalism and confidence.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or relevant equivalent experience.

Who we are?
The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).
EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state’s electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State’s first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
