About the role
We’re looking for individuals who are natural organisers and who love multi-tasking, to join our Castlereagh area work team. This pivotal role provides a comprehensive range of project and administrative support services including maintaining registers and routine databases, providing secretariat support, responding to enquires, drafting correspondence and assisting with background research and analysis.
Supporting the role of the Team Leader Field Operations you’ll also work closely with the area team to communicate key information, management of due dates of tasks, financial processing and monitoring, recruitment, and day to day administrative tasks. You’ll be relied upon to assist with financial and records management, procurement, routine correspondence, meeting and event coordination, HR administration and reporting. To ensure the smooth running of the Branch, you’ll utilise your savvy business systems knowledge and superior organisational and communication skills.
About you
You’ll be able to demonstrate your superior attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines and provide project support within a busy and diverse work environment. We’re keen to hear from you if have strong financial management and procurement skills, people management and coordination skills and ideally have previous experience in a similar administration role with a strong working knowledge of business systems including procurement. Your communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other staff and stakeholders is also key to your success in this role.
Key knowledge and Experience
- Experience in administration including experience in the use of computer based systems such as word processing, spreadsheet and records management systems.
- Knowledge of financial and human resource management procedures, policies and practices, and contract administration.
