The Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI) is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Azure API Developer to join the Digital and Customer team. This role is critical in delivering secure, scalable, and high-quality integration solutions that enable the department to meet its digital transformation goals.

As a Senior Azure API Developer, you will work as part of a high-performing team, providing guidance on the design, development, and delivery of end-to-end integration solutions using Azure technologies. Your expertise will help enhance business efficiency, strengthen operational processes, and ensure secure and scalable digital solutions are embedded across the organisation. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, troubleshoot and optimise solutions, and contribute to business improvements through technical excellence and strong documentation.

This is an excellent opportunity to apply your Azure development expertise within a supportive and high-performing team and contribute to digital initiatives that improve outcomes for communities across New South Wales.

What you will bring to the role:

  • Proven experience in developing and delivering integration solutions using the Azure Integration Platform, including API Management, Azure Functions,Logic Apps, and related services.
  • Strong knowledge of API design, implementation, and testing for seamless integration across applications and services.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality, reliable solutions within project timelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues and design effective technical solutions.
  • A collaborative approach to working with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams in a complex environment.
  • Resilience and adaptability in navigating change and delivering outcomes in fast-paced settings.
