About the role
The Project Officer, IT Services oversees full lifecycle management of IT projects, ensuring technology solutions are smoothly integrated to enhance efficiency, security, and business value. Acting as a bridge between business needs and technical execution, this role provides expert guidance on design, architecture, procurement, deployment, and management of IT systems.
By identifying digital transformation opportunities, improving IT service delivery, and embedding best practices in security and compliance, the role maximizes the organisation's use of technology.

About you
Our ideal candidate will bring to the role:
- Experience in delivering a range of IM&T focused project management and support services, managing competing priorities and tight timeframes.
- Excellent communication skills to act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into actionable technical solutions.
- Capability to manage project resources, including cross-functional teams and external vendors, to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
- Proven expertise in managing IT projects, including Wi-Fi deployments, system upgrades, and cloud migrations, with extensive understanding of modern IT architectures, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and endpoint management (Intune, MDM).
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS, ITIL, Prince2, PMP) and formal project management qualifications (e.g., Prince2 Practitioner, PMP) would be well regarded.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in an ICT discipline and/or relevant experience in a related discipline.
