- Salary ranges from $148,230 to $162,682 + super
Expressions of interest are invited for an opportunity as Manager, Policy and Briefings in the Office of the Deputy Secretary, Conservation Programs, Heritage and Regulation (CPHR) Group. This is a temporary opportunity to backfill leave between 18 July – 15 August 2025.
The role is responsible for providing high-level executive support to the Deputy Secretary, ensuring that all policy and briefing material is delivered on time and to a high standard. The role provides a key point of coordination across the CPHR Group to support the Deputy Secretary’s approvals processes, attendance at meetings, events and briefings, and finalisation of material for the Secretary and Minister.
About You
Key knowledge and experience:
- Demonstrated experience in providing coordinated and strategic responses to Ministerial and Executive correspondence; preparing briefs, House-folder notes, Cabinet documents, Estimates Committee briefs, parliamentary questions, meeting and event packages.
- Demonstrated experience in providing policy, strategic and operational advice and recommendations at a senior level.
- Extensive knowledge, skills and experience in Government protocols and procedures.
- Tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in relevant field.
