As the Sentencer you will be responsible for the archiving and sentencing of physical and electronic records for the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure (DPHI). You will be required to have working knowledge of General and Functional Retention and Disposal Schedules.
What you will bring to the role
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the obligations and statutory responsibilities of the State Records Act (NSW) and the Australian Standard AS ISO 15489 (Records Management)
- Demonstrated extensive knowledge of records & archival management principles and practices
- Demonstrated experience in the use and application of General and Functional Retention and Disposal Schedules
- Demonstrated experience in use of EDRMS (preferably Content Manager) including archiving functions
- High level communication, investigative and research skills
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain a high level of confidentiality
