About the Role 

National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for an Administration Support Officer to work as part of the team and contribute towards the conservation of the natural environment, flora, fauna and aboriginal heritage. 

 

The Administration Support Officer provides quality customer service and administrative support services to the Southern Ranges team.  This pivotal role provides a wide range of administrative support services to facilitate the operation of the team such as financial and records management, routine correspondence, meeting and event coordination, HR administration and reporting. 

Working closely with the Team Leader’s you will be relied upon to communicate key information, management of due dates of tasks, financial processing and monitoring, recruitment, calendar management and day to day administrative tasks.  To ensure the smooth running of the Area, you’ll utilise your savvy business systems knowledge (SAP, Content Manager, Microsoft Word and Excel) and superior organisational and communication skills.

 

The role also assists a team of field staff with their routine administration needs.

 

About You 

You’ll be able to demonstrate your attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines and provide support within a busy and diverse work environment. You will have demonstrably strong people management and program coordination skills, financial management experience and ideally have previous experience in a similar administration role with knowledge of SAP, records management CM10, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.  Your communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other staff and stakeholders will be highly valued in this role.
