About the role
The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the overall management and daily operations of the Centre, with a strong focus on the delivery of direct services and programs. This role ensures that all internal business units operate efficiently and in alignment with the Office of Sport’s policy frameworks, as well as relevant legislative and regulatory requirements. The Operations Manager is also responsible for leading the site leadership team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused programs and services that meet the needs of the community.
What you will bring to the role
- Inspirational, values-based leadership that fosters collaboration and inclusivity, empowering staff and stakeholders to expand community access to sport and recreation opportunities
- Proven operational management expertise, ensuring efficient Centre functionality through strategic resource planning, staff coordination, and service delivery aligned with community needs.
- A track record of innovation in program development, creating engaging, high-quality sport and active recreation experiences by leveraging team capabilities, modern equipment, and emerging trends.
- Strong business and facility management acumen, including lifecycle maintenance planning, capital works oversight, budget development, and customer service excellence, all aligned with strategic priorities.
Essential Requirements
- Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) Clearance
- Class C Drivers licence
