  • Salary relative to experience and ranges from $110,266 to $122,058 + super

 

 

An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and organised individual to act as Executive Coordinator in the Office of the Deputy Secretary, Development Assessment and Sustainability. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Division by providing high-level executive and administrative support to the Deputy Secretary. You will be working closely with stakeholders across the Department in coordinating communication, diary and schedule management, and the progression of briefing notes and correspondence.

 

As the Executive Coordinator, you will oversee a range of responsibilities including the coordination of meetings and events, stakeholder engagement, financial and procurement support, and records management. You will also act as a central point of contact to help prioritise requests and facilitate effective communication across teams to support the achievement of strategic objectives.

What you will bring to the role

  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced, executive-level environment.
  • Strong judgment and decision-making skills, particularly in escalating sensitive or urgent matters appropriately.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a high level of personal motivation and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and build strong relationships across all levels.
  • Solid experience with executive diary management, logistics coordination, and supporting financial administration (e.g. purchase orders).
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when managing sensitive information.
