About the role
The Asset Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and delivery of asset maintenance programs across the Office’s network of sport and recreation facilities. This role ensures that all preventative and responsive maintenance activities are executed efficiently, safely, and in line with relevant standards and regulations.
Managing the asset maintenance system, overseeing service contracts, and collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders are key aspects of the role. It also involves supervising Asset Maintenance Officers and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
What you will bring to the role
In this role, you will apply your leadership, technical, and project management expertise to drive high-quality maintenance outcomes. You will bring:
- Proven experience in asset maintenance or management, with a strong understanding of statutory and operational requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and deliver complex maintenance programs and projects within time and budget constraints.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and contract management skills, with the ability to resolve issues and drive performance.
- Proficiency in using or managing asset maintenance systems and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- A collaborative and proactive approach to team leadership, mentoring, and performance development.
Essential requirements
- Current and valid driver’s licence.
- Qualifications in a project management, building, engineering, asset management, asset maintenance, facility management or related field or equivalent industry experience in a similar role.
