The role
As a Senior Project Manager in Civic Places, you’ll be hands-on in shaping Bradfield City Centre’s social and cultural footprint—leading projects from early planning through to delivery. You’ll kick off procurement, guide placemaking strategies like wayfinding and temporary play spaces, and bring people together through thoughtful, community-focused design. Your strength in project management and passion for social infrastructure will help connect people with place in meaningful ways.
You’ll balance timelines, budgets, and stakeholder needs while influencing across councils, agencies, and consultants. With your operational know-how and collaborative mindset, you’ll drive outcomes that reflect community behaviour and aspirations—delivering spaces that are not just built, but truly lived in.

What you will bring to the role
- Strong experience and understanding in social infrastructure planning, programs and outcomes
- Understanding of and experience with NSW Government and Local Government context including strategic planning, state legislation and policies.
- Experience in the procurement and contract administration of major infrastructure projects contractors, consultants and service providers.
- Strong experience and successful track record in developing and delivering complex development projects with WHS, environment and sustainability requirements and knowledge of relevant legislation and standards.
- Experience in the preparation of accurate and timely reports for distribution to Senior Executives, the Board and Government
- Proven leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve shared goals.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with diverse stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
- Enjoys autonomy and demonstrates proficiency in working independently, taking initiative, and making decisions.
What is an essential requirement:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant experience.
