About the role

As an Operations Coordinator, you’ll be the go-to person for keeping one of NSW’s Olympic sport venues running smoothly managing everything from maintenance and compliance to team supervision and stakeholder relationships. You’ll juggle resources, tackle complex operational challenges, and help shape the venue’s future through smart planning, budgeting, and procurement. It’s a hands-on role where your leadership and problem solving skills will make a real impact every day.

What you will bring to the role

  • Ensure compliance and operational excellence by overseeing venue operations in line with all regulatory and statutory requirements, and supervising teams to deliver high-quality services and facilities.
  • Manage assets and maintenance by overseeing the venue’s physical infrastructure, developing maintenance programs, and coordinating landscaping, cleaning, and waste disposal services.
  • Lead procurement and financial planning through the preparation of tender and contract documentation, monitoring financial performance, and assisting in the development of business plans and operational budgets.
  • Foster stakeholder relationships to meet venue hire standards and expectations, ensuring strong collaboration and satisfaction among clients and partners.

Essential Requirements

  • Class C Drivers licence
