The Bradfield Development Authority (BDA) has a once-in-a-generation opportunity to help build Australia’s newest city from the ground up.
As the Director of Strategic Program Management at BDA, you will oversee the $1.2 billion Bradfield City Centre Major Works Program, ensuring effective governance and management practices. This role involves coordinating multiple projects to achieve strategic business outcomes, optimising value from investments, and driving efficient project management across various sectors.
Key challenges involve managing complex interfaces between diverse functions and stakeholders, anticipating and mitigating impediments, and maintaining day-to-day relationships to drive timely and cost-effective outcomes. The Director must lead the strategic program management function, actively manage budgets, risks, and resources, and ensure alignment with business priorities and stakeholder needs.

About you
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Extensive experience in managing complex precinct and infrastructure projects.
- Strong background in strategic program management, including governance, assurance, and stakeholder engagement.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and optimise value from investments.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Expertise in managing budgets, risks, and resources, with a track record of delivering results in dynamic environments
Essential requirements
- Relevant qualifications in engineering, planning, business, program management or a related discipline.
