About You
We’re looking for experienced Talent Acquisition Specialists who will bring:
- An understanding of NSW Government recruitment processes, particularly the Government Sector Employment (GSE) act (highly desirable).
- Demonstrated ability to remain focused, adaptable, and productive under pressure while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
- A proven track record of effectively managing a high-volume recruitment workload, whilst setting clear priorities, and delivering high-quality customer service outcomes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships, influence decision-making, and manage expectations across diverse stakeholder groups.
What You’ll Do
As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will:
- Recruit positions from start to finish, helping managers meritoriously select the best candidates by offering advice and ensuring compliance to the GSE.
- Be a recruitment expert, guiding teams on effective hiring practices like advertising, screening, and interviewing to help them make smart hiring decisions.
- Improve recruitment processes, working with other teams to make recruitment smoother and more efficient through various workforce projects.
- Build strong relationships, connecting with hiring managers, candidates and other government agencies, to promote the department and attract talent.
- Work closely with leaders, helping shape hiring strategies that support the department’s goals.
