About the role
The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and management of staff assigned to Penrith Whitewater Stadium, including direct service delivery of Venue programs. The role supports each internal business unit to function effectively within the Office’s policy frameworks and legislative and regulatory requirements. The Site Manager is responsible for delivering high quality customer centric programs and services. The role works closely with the Venue Manager to support the effective day-to-day operations of the venue.
What you will bring to the role
- Strong leadership and team management skills, demonstrated through values-based guidance of staff and stakeholders, supervision of activities teams, and ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Expertise in program coordination and evaluation, with a focus on developing and delivering venue programs tailored to client needs and aligned with agency standards, including child protection obligations.
- Proven ability in stakeholder engagement and business development, cultivating relationships to secure new opportunities and promote services effectively.
- Operational excellence in booking and communication processes, ensuring smooth coordination across functional areas to maximise participation and client satisfaction.
- Financial and instructional competence, managing budgets to meet business priorities and providing leadership in water-based activities to achieve desired outcomes.
Essential Requirements
- Class C Drivers licence
- Current Working with Children Check Clearance
