The role
If you’re someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-impact environments, this role puts you at the centre of shaping major development projects across New South Wales. As Case Manager, you’ll support strong, fair, and quick assessment of State significant proposals, achieving environmental outcomes and balancing efficiency and quality while unpacking complex challenges. You’ll build and manage relationships with government agencies and stakeholders, deliver best practice collaboration, and help drive a planning system that supports achieving NSW government priorities.
It's a juggling act—navigating deadlines, community expectations, and stakeholder demands—all while maintaining top-tier standards. You'll bring sharp thinking, confident communication, and collaborative energy to a team that’s continuously improving how things are done.

What you will bring to the role
- Proven ability to understand the assessment of complex State significant projects with a clear understanding of planning legislation and environmental impact assessment practices.
- Strong communication skills to produce quality briefings and reports and deliver top tier presentations and workshops.
- Skilled in identifying key issues and offering practical, innovative solutions that support timely decision-making and resolve stakeholder concerns
- Confidence working in dynamic, high-pressure environments—balancing competing priorities while maintaining the integrity of the planning process.
What is an essential requirement:
- Degree in environmental science or management, engineering, planning, or other relevant discipline
- Willingness to travel and (minimum) Class C Driver’s License
