  • Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $129,464 to $142,665 + super

The role

 

You’ll be part of the Environmental Management Group’s Sustainability team, delivering innovative projects that support NSW Government goals on Net Zero, circular economy and sustainable development. You will provide guidance and set the plan for Property and Development NSW and other NSW Government agencies to achieve their Net Zero ambitions. You’ll use your sustainability expertise to lead and coordinate Net Zero Government Operations reporting and assist in the development of long-term net zero transition plans.

You’ll also be responsible for implementing best practice processes, stakeholder engagement and reporting on sustainability performance within PDNSW Office portfolio.

This is an exciting opportunity to be hands-on in the development and delivery of the infrastructure and tools that make sustainability real and measurable in the public sector.

What you will bring to the role

 

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in government and/or corporate sustainability reporting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in reporting and preparation of Government Resource Efficiency Policy (GREP) reporting.
  • An ability to identify emission reduction opportunities and programs, with strong technical knowledge of energy, waste and water efficiency projects.
  • High-level skills in stakeholder engagement and the ability to work closely with our clients to deliver comprehensive and accurate reports on time and within budget.

 

What is an essential requirement:

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Science or Engineering.
  • Previous experience in NSW Government Resource Efficiency Policy reporting.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Demonstrated experience with net zero, energy and carbon accounting principles.
