About the role

In this role, you will drive consistency in third-party event and venue hire management, while coordinating, evaluating, and reporting on a variety of events and activities designed to boost visitation and recreational use of national parks and reserves.

 

About You

You are an organised events professional with experience in planning, coordinating and delivering diverse events, ideally in outdoor or public spaces. Skilled in building partnerships, managing multiple projects, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, you thrive At handling competing priorities in dynamic and demanding environments.

Your strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills enable you to deliver high-quality, safe and engaging events that enhance visitor experiences and promote NSW national parks.

Key knowledge and experience

  • Experience in event management including; planning, promotions, partnerships, implementation, monitoring and evaluation and risk management.
  • Experience in the facilitation of third party events including developed negotiation and communication skills and preparation of event management contracts.
  • Proficient in facilitation and coordination of events off site and across outdoor spaces.

Essential requirements

  • Australian Drivers Licence required.
  • Ability to work after hours, including weekends, as required.
