Are you a visionary HR leader who thrives at the intersection of strategic influence and operational delivery? Through an internal expressions of interest across the public sector, we are seeking a highly capable and forward-thinking Director People Partners to drive impactful workforce strategies and to enable organisational success through engaged, high-performing teams.
As a key member of the People and Culture leadership team, you will work closely with senior executives to identify and implement strategic people initiatives that build capability, inspire performance, and support complex change. With your deep expertise in contemporary HR practices, you will act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders and the People Partner team, enabling sound workforce decision-making through data, insight, and influence.
This is an exciting role which enables you to lead a team of passionate HR professionals, ensuring excellence in service delivery while championing continuous improvement across all aspects of the function during an exciting phase of our P&C service delivery optimisation.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will be an influential HR leader with a demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with operational delivery. You bring a proven track record in leading complex, enterprise-wide people initiatives and driving cultural and organisational change within large, fast-paced environments. Your deep understanding of workforce strategy, coupled with your ability to navigate policy, legislative, and industrial frameworks, ensures you can manage risk and deliver high-impact outcomes.
You will have expertise in interpreting workforce analytics and using data-driven insights to identify trends, inform decision-making, and shape innovative people strategies. Your success is underpinned by exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills that enable you to engage effectively across all levels of the organisation, influence outcomes, and manage ambiguity with confidence.
It is essential that you are an experienced people leader who fosters high-performing, collaborative teams and cultivates a culture of continuous improvement. You are known for your ability to build strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders, and for your commitment to delivering people-focused solutions that support organisational objectives.
