  • Clerk Grade 7/8 Salary relative to experience and ranges from $113,574 to $125,720 + super

 

 We are seeking expressions of interest for the role of Data Management Analyst within the Digital Information Office, Corporate Services. This role is responsible for maintaining and updating system data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and efficiency. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business applications, managing helpdesk functions, and contributing to data analysis and reporting activities.

 

As part of this role, you will establish and maintain data structures, implement data warehouse designs, and perform SQL scripting for reporting and investigative purposes. You will also be involved in user training, documentation, and testing of business applications. Your contribution will support the delivery of business objectives through the application of technical expertise in data quality, control, and management across various software tools and database environments.

 

What you will do

  • Manage data structures and perform analysis to support business applications, including triage and ticket management via Jira to ensure timely resolution of requests and incidents.
  • Collaborate with application developers to clarify business requirements, translate them into actionable tasks, and support the delivery of enhancements through testing and validation.
  • Contribute to sprint planning and backlog refinement to ensure development priorities are well-defined and aligned with business needs.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation, user guides, and internal knowledge bases to support ongoing development and onboarding.
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to inform feature development and system improvements.
  • Make autonomous decisions while delivering high-quality outcomes within set timeframes.
  • Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning, self-reflection, and professional development.
  • Communicate effectively with diverse audiences and collaborate across teams, using technology to enhance business outcomes and ensure compliance with cyber security and data management standards.

Essential requirements
