EOI opportunity: Senior Team Leader, Credit Transactions - EO12 - in the Assurance and Biodiversity Stewardship Branch

• Temporary full-time opportunity till at least January 2025 (~6 months)
• Office location – negotiable, including flexible work options.

Our Assurance and Biodiversity Stewardship Branch is seeking to backfill the role of Senior Team Leader, Credit Transactions.

The main role provides assurance of credits transactions under the under the Biodiversity Offset Scheme (BOS).

Specifically, it includes:

• Coordinating credits transactions (transfers and retirements)
• Coordinating credit equivalence between previous offset scheme and new scheme
• Maintaining existing IT systems, including public registers
• Budget responsibilities of up to est. $1.5M
• Contributing to the Digital Transformation program (lead by another Branch)

The role leads a geographically dispersed team (Sydney, Newcastle, Coffs Harbour, Queanbeyan, and Gosford):

• The team includes eight existing roles: 2x EO11 Principal Project Officers, 3x EO9 Senior Project Officers, 1x EO7 Project Officer, 1x EO5 Assistant Project Officer, and 1x EO4 Administration Officer.
• You will report to the Manager, Offset Programs.
