- Temporary up to December 2025 full-time (35 hours per week) opportunity, with the possibility of extension

- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $94,423 to $105,016 + super
Our Assurance and Biodiversity Stewardship Branch is currently seeking to appoint an Assistant Project Officer.
The role provides assurance of credits transactions and credit equivalence under the under the Biodiversity Offset Scheme (BOS).
Specifically, the role includes:
- Supporting credits transactions (transfers and retirements)
- Supporting credit equivalence between previous offset scheme and new scheme
- Supporting maintenance and enhancement of existing IT systems, including public registers
About You
To be successful in the role, you will have an interest in increasing your knowledge of the BOS and developing your project management skills. You will be comfortable working autonomously within a geographically dispersed team and collaborating with immediate team members and wider colleagues as required.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in environmental education, science communications, environmental management environmental science, planning, environmental engineering, archaeology, or equivalent.
- Current Driver’s License
