  • Package includes salary depending on experience ($106,025 - $117,363) plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
  • Temporary full-time role until 30 June 2026 with possible extension
  • Located in beautiful Audley or Bobbin Head.

 

About the Role

National Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for a Project Officer to work as part of the close-knit team based in Audley or Bobbin Head and contribute towards the conservation of the natural environment, flora, fauna and aboriginal heritage of NSW. 

The Project Officer is responsible for providing diverse civil project management services, including preparation of reports and briefs, coordinating resources, maintaining project documentation, implementing and monitoring project plans.

 

About You

As a Project Officer you are adept at managing competing priorities and working collaboratively with inter-connected teams, and across multiple organisations.

In addition to your strong verbal and written communication skills, you will have proven ability to work with stakeholders to achieve program and project outcomes whilst exercising sound judgement and discretion.

Ideally, you will have detailed knowledge and experience in the delivery of sealed and unsealed road maintenance and construction works and have exposure to high-volume work within a large complex organisation or similar.

 

Essential Requirements

  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant working experience in civil project management.
  • Experience in development and delivery of projects, including the development of project plans, monitoring of project timelines, budgets and reporting requirements, and contract administration.
