  • Temporary role up to 4 years full-time at 35 hours per week plus Flextime
  • Sydney, Newcastle or NSW location by negotiation
  • Hybrid working from home and office supported
  • Salary range from $106,025 to $117,363 plus super and leave loading

 

EnergyCo NSW is spearheading the transition to renewable energy to deliver clean electricity to the people of NSW as coal-fired power stations near closure.

 

About the Opportunity

Our EnergyCo NSW Project Delivery branch is currently seeking to appoint an Executive Coordinator to provide and coordinate administrative support to executive leaders of the Hunter Transmission Project team at Energy Corporation of NSW, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the organisation and support the achievement of its operational objectives. This role also coordinates and manages projects, makes recommendations and engages with key senior executives.

The Executive Coordinator has total oversight of the project, the project directors and teams actively mitigate risks across the whole project lifecycle to drive the better outcomes for energy customers and regional communities.

 

About You

To be successful in the role, you will have relevant experience in providing executive support to senior executives or other business management/administration roles in a project environment and be proficient with MS Office and records management applications.

You will also have the demonstrated ability to interpret and apply government protocols and administration policies, processes and procedures to ensure documentation meets the project governance requirements.

You will have good time management, with the ability to manage competing priorities and provide consistent high levels of support and attention to detail, despite heavy workloads, short deadlines and the need to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion.

You will be self-motivated and thrive on taking the opportunity to use your initiative to identify and fill gaps in a high-pressure team environment to ensure optimal operations of the executive leadership and the overall organisation and exercising judgement in resolution of issues.

Who we are?

The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy.  EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW).

EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state’s electricity system into one that is cheap, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State’s first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
